The majority of coffee is grown in the Jinotega and Matagalpa regions both possessing key factors that help coffee thrive; tropical climate, hight elevation and nutrient rich volcanic soil. Elevation ranges from 3200 - 4600 feet which offer a longer ripening period further nourishing the coffee cherry prior to harvest.
